These tags contain information, such as a unique security ID value, which can be read by the RFID reader simply by swiping the tag across the reader sensor.
As each tag is uniquely identified, KodeKLIX simplifies the 128bit value into a simple single digit value (between 0 and F) for ease of use by younger engineers (the tags have the value written on them). |
